Nua-O Scholarship Odisha : Eligibility Criteria
- Student should be from Odisha
- The Students must have Under Graduate or Post Graduate
- Students must be these Categories : SC / ST / OBC / General
- The family annual income of the applicants should be less than Rs 1 lakh as per their category.
- The Scheam will not be open to applicants whose parents pay taxes or are employed by the government.
- The candidate should be studying in a government recognized college or university.
- The candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the Last examination.
- The student should not be receiving any other scholarship by the State or Central Government.
NUA-O Scholarship Odisha : Benefits
- In this scheme, all boys will get Rs 9,000/- and all girl students will get Rs 10,000/- . If girl students belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and construction workers category then they will get Rs 11000/-.
- For the current academic year, the government said the scholarships will be credited to the bank accounts of the targeted beneficiaries/Students between February 20 and 25, 2024.
- 32,000 Post Graduate students and Rs 4.5 lakh Under Graduate students will benefit from this scholarship scheme.

Odisha Government has recently announced a scheme for all Odisha students. All Under Graduate and Post Graduate students can get all types of benefits in this scheme. In this scheme all the students will get Rs. 9,000/- and girl students Rs. 10,000/-. NUA-O Scholarship Odisha : Step by Step Apply Process
Before the launch of the scholarship portal, applications were invited for department-wise schemes through the state scholarship portal. However, this portal was created to ensure transparency and accountability in the scholarship system. Below are step-wise details of the application process.
To apply the scholarship, eligible students must follow the steps given below :
STEP 1 – First of all you go to this portal – State Scholarship Portal
STEP 2 – If you are a new user then click on the ”Registration” link on the portal. Existing user can click on ”login” button.
STEP 3 – Enter the Aadhaar number, Click the Check Box and proceed.
STEP 4 – Check your registered mobile or email to get User ID and Password.
STEP 5 – Click on the login link on the portal and enter the user ID and password to apply the scholarship.
STEP 6 – Provide all the required details like student, academic, eligibility and bank information.
STEP 7 – Click the “Save as Draft” button to draft the information or click the “Next” button to save the scholarship form and proceed.
STEP 8 – A preview of the filled form will appear on the page. After downloading the form, print it out.
